We loved our stay here! The owners are so kind and speak English very well. The scenery is unbeatable. It was such a lovely and relaxing escape from more touristy cities. The food was also so excellent, and what a great value!

Po lanski zelo lepi iskušnji na vašem posestvu, smo si letos ponovno želeli preživeti pri vas nekaj prelepih dni. Kljub slabim vremenskim obetom smo bili prepričani, da tega dopusta ninakor ne smemo izpustiti in res nam ni bilo niti za tenutek žal. Vreme nam je bilo vseeno naklonjeno. »Naš dom« pri vas nam je bil izhodišče za lepe izlete v okoliške doline in na panoramsko cesto z vsemi njenimi zanimivostmi. Za nas » meščane« je bilo vsak dan zabavno opazovati celo krave, ki so šle zjutraj na pašo in teličke, ki so se radi poigrali med sabo. Zelo smo bili zadovoljni z raznovrstnimi obilnimi zajtrki in resnično zelo okusnimi večerjami, predvsem pa so nas vsakič razveselili prisrčni nasmehi in naravna prijaznost vašega osebja. Bivanje pri vas je za nas resnično prelepa izkušnja in svojim prijateljem z veseljem priporočamo, naj vas obiščejo tudi oni, mi pa se bomo zagotovo še vrnili. Srčna hvala za vaše gostoljubje.

Great location and a great value. Friendly staff, especially Liza (not sure of spelling of her name)

Everything was perfect. My only critique is that the beds were hard for my liking and despite having windows on two of the four walls, it was hard to get the room properly ventilated, so it was hotter in the room than it was outside for the duration of the evening. A simple electric fan in the room would do wonders. The location cannot be beat. A place of incredible natural beauty. The staff were great, especially the wait staff and kitchen staff that prepared delicious and very filling breakfasts and dinners for an extremely reasonable price. This was our favorite stop during our 10-day vacation in Slovenia. Thank you for the great experience!

The farm & location is like a little paradise. The owner, family, and employees were very kind and friendly. The homemade food is excellent, the best breakfast I've had so far during my visit in Slovenia. The room was very clean, and I loved the welcome drink... homemade schnapps! I love how quiet Robanov Kot is compared to Logarska Dolina (which is obviously still worth visiting though). Definitely recommend.

The accommodation is situated in a very beautiful area surrounded by the mountains. Just a bit far from everything but afterwards, the panoramic green road is worthwhile exploring while in the Lodgar valley. We didn't enjoy much in the farm and the accommodation but the owner family is definitely friendly and very helpful in providing the information regarding the visits of the region.

The farm is located in a beautiful alpine meadow high in the mountains. The woodwork is exquisite, the rooms are large and spotless, the hosts are charming and the food is delicious.

Slaba zvočna izolacija sob, skupni balkon, ki bi lahko bil locen, da sosedje ne vstopajo na drug/tvoj balkon, slabsa wifi povezava. Vse ostalo pa lepe pohvale za kuhinjo z zelo okusnimi domacimi jedmi in osebje, ki je prijazno in ustrezljivo. Odlicna ponudba in ambient, ki je lepo umeščen v okolico. Der Hof Govc mit seinen freundlichen Bewohnerinnen und Bewohnern, dem unglaublich guten Essen und der schönen und sehr ruhigen Unterbringung war - wie immer - die perfekte Grundlage für einen traumhaften Wanderurlaub mit Freunden und Familie in einer wunderschönen Landschaft. We loved our stay. The view from room 8 is mesmerizing. The staff were warm and friendly. The food is plentiful and delicious and mostly grown on the farm. The room is fairly small but they have been clever with storage so you can tuck everything out of the way. The only negative is that we could hear people in the next room talking. Otherwise a perfect stay. We would happily stay again.

Zahtevno delo opravljate. Poklon vsem. Želim Vam zdravja, moči, da bi zmogli še naprej, obenem pa si vzeli čas tudi zase in se spočili. Življenje je kratko - tudi, če je dolgo... Pogrešala sem sadje pri obrokih ter več zelenjave. Predvsem za zajtrk sem pričakovala (tudi glede na ceno storitve) vsaj JABOLKA, kosmiče, semena, namočene slive, več tekočine, čaj. S spoštovanjem.

Obiskala sva jih že drugic.Lepa lokacija, prijaznost lastnikov.

Spoštovani. Bivanje na vaši kmetiji je bilo za nas kot balzam za dušo in telo. Vsa "dolinska in civilizacijska" togost in obveznosti so se pri vas razblinile. Zapomnile si bomo te, žal prekratke počitnice po vaši prijaznosti, odlični hrani, postrežbi in prijetni sobi. Prav ničesar nam ni manjkalo. Vaša družina nam je dajala občutek, kot, da smo del nje tudi mi, gostje. Lokacija vaše kmetije je kot nalašč za sprehode, izlete in obiske vseh okoliških »kotov«, kar smo s pridom izkoristile in se nato vsak večer veselile vaše domače hrane, ki se je ne bi nikoli naveličale. Prepričane smo, da bomo take počitnice pri vas kmalu spet ponovile in o vaši kmetiji pripovedovale tistim svojim prijateljem, ki jim želimo, da bi se imeli tako lepo, kot smo se imele me same. Z veseljem smo bili gostje kmetije Govc Vršnik, ki z ljubeznijo in predanostjo ohranja družinsko tradicijo. Skrbno in z občutkom urejena kmetija, s pestro ponudbo hrane in pijače, prijazno družino, ki skrbi za udoblje gostov, izredna čistoča.. in seveda prekrasna narava. Z možem sva bila pri vas prvič - vrneva pa se že septembra in glede na to, kako zelo sva navdušena nad vašo gostoljubnostjo, imenitno kuhinjo in čudovito naravo s številnimi pohodniškimi priložnostmi, se bova zagotovo pogosto vračala!

Celotna izkušnja z Turistično Kmetijo Govc-Vršnik je bila odlična, soba lepa in čista, razgled popoln, osebje zelo ustrežljivo in prijazno, hrana božanska, lokacija prelepa. Nimamo niti en minus katerega bi izpostavili, to da wifi nagaja je pa celo plus, saj človek gre tam se sprostit, umirit, malo se oddaljit od vsak danega vrveža in uživat v miru, svobodi in vsaj za par dni začutiti da čas mineva počasneje, hrana ima boljši okus, zrak je lahko bolj čist, ljudje so lahko prijazni in uživat v naravi ki je prečudovita na teh koncih. Samo pohvale in z veseljem se bova vračala ;)

Besides location, the most rememberable will stay the outstanding hospitality and kindness of the hosts! The location, Robanov kot is a special place in Sočavje, it is so close to the famous Logar valley but isolated from the mass tourism. A place for regeneration of everyday routine. We will return!

Gorgeous location, wonderful welcome and service by warm and friendly staff, plus fabulous food. Our favourite place to stay in our 3 week trip around Slovenia.

Bila sva zelo zadovoljna in navdušena nad vašo prijaznostjo,vašo hišo,postrežbo,naravo,hrano. Skratka čudovito in se še bova kdaj vrnila.

Nekaj dnevno bivanje pri vas je bilo prijetno, bližina narave čudovita, jutranji pogled na Ojstrico še bolj. Prehrana in postrežba sta bila na dobrem nivoju, prav tako bivanje v sobi. Želim vam uspešnih dni.

Izvrstna lokacija za vse, ki si želijo malo miru. Signal za uporabo mobilnih telefonov je omejen samo na določene predele zgradbe. Nekaj je bilo težav tudi z uporabo WiFi-ja in sobne TV, kar pa sploh ni bilo tako moteče, če se zaveš namena, zakaj si prišel v ta krat. Osebje je prijazno, hrana in postrežba super.

Izjemna lokacija, odlična izhodna točka za pohodnike, hrana za sladokusce in gostoljubje kot si ga lahko le želite. Ko bodo baterije prazne, se vrnemo spet.

Čudovita narava. Urejenost, čistoča in storitve odlične. Za priporočiti.

Brilliant place, great food, incredibly nice staff

Idilična lokacija za vse, ki uživajo v lepotah narave in imajo radi dobro domačo hrano. Pogled na vrhove gora, zeleno dolino polno cvetljic in metuljev, skupina kravic ter žuborenje bližnjega potoka nadvse pomirjajo. Izjemno prijazno in pridno osebje, ki rado ugodi prošnji - naš kuža je bil lepo sprejet. Odlična doma pridelana hrana, kjer izpostavljam mlečne izdelke, še posebej pa domačo skuto :)

Namestitev v vaših prostorih bova priporočila vsem, ki imajo radi odmik v čisto in mirno okolje alpskih dolin, ki imajo radi dobro hrano, znajo ustaviti čas in biti (kdaj pa kdaj) nedosegljivi na telefon,radi z osebjem vzpostavijo oseben odnos...:)

Sprejem pristen,nasmejan pozitiven,postrezba nad visokimi pricakovanji,velika pohvala kuharici na kmetiji obilna hrana,vse okusno in domace... .Pri Vrsnikovih ne sparajo s hrano...!velika pohvala vsem pri strezbi saj se vsi mladi na kmetiji pri Govcu trudijo za nadaljni uspeh kmetije.Sobe urejene in zelo ciste. Se naprej tako,Pridni!!!

Me and my family have been coming at Robanov kot and Govc-Vršnik tourist farm for many, many years, and we've always found it to be a magical experience.

The hotel is located in a beautiful valley with farms. The rooms are spacious and clean, beds comfortable. We had our dinner there which was delicious and of huge size :) The breakfast was also very good with bread, honey, home made tea and jam, several kinds of salami slices, eggs and salad. The milk was really fresh and tasty.

Loved our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. The hospitality and the food were terrific!

We spent 5 nights here in July at Govc Vesnik, three adults and two kids (age 4 and 8). It is one of our best family trip. Govc Vesnik is located in Robanov Kot with beautiful view of the mountains and very easy access to hiking trails. The family who own this place is super nice. The food served are mostly from their own place. We have breakfast and dinner there and the taste of the local food is so good! Very clean and comfortable rooms.I wish we could stay longer but the rooms are fully booked. My kids had so much fun there. I highly recommend Govc Vrsnik to all the people who wants to have a relaxing holiday!

Govc-Vršnik is the greatest establishment I've ever stayed at, which is why I have visited often. It stands out for its lovely rooms, wonderful service, superlative food and glorious surroundings.

A beautiful and relaxing get away with outdoor activities right at the doorstep. We had a wonderful time.

Wir kommen immer wieder gern zu Familie Vrsnik nach Robanov Kot und genießen hier die ruhige Lage in wunderschöner Landschaft, das klare Wasser, die reine Luft und vor allem die liebevolle Gastfreundschaft in familiärer Atmosphäre. Hier ist der richtige Ort für Naturliebhaber und alle, die mal vom Alltag abschalten wollen.

My husband and I, along with my sister and brother-in-law took a trip to Govc-Vrsnik in May. While the weather was a little chilly this spring, the location was beautiful and the family was very accommodating. I would definitely recommend and hope to go back some day!

My daughter and I were traveling for 2 weeks through Slovenia and Croatia. We enjoyed our stay here, it was very peaceful. The food was great and the staff kindly accommodated our request for no meat. We also enjoyed the hiking in the area as well as the Panoramic Drive.

It is a marvellous hidden place. Hope it will stay as it is now....

Wir waren rund um begeistert!

The owners are the kindest people in the world! I've met so many hosts before and I've never met more thoughtful hosts like Nina and Marjana. The bed and the blankets are also super comfortable, my mother and I slept like babies. I had overlooked the distances when I booked and Nina had already known that and had made plans to help me get to some hiking spots. So touched! We were also hit by super low temperatures and we were actually just stuck at the farm until they also kindly decided to lend us some coats so we could see the valley. We didn't even ask cos we didn't want to trouble them, but they were so thoughtful and kind to offer! My mother and I were so grateful and felt absolutely welcomed by them. No wonder they have countless guests returning! It's the same for me! I hope to come back again to see Solčava in its full glory when it's sunny!! Thank you so much everyone from the farm!!!

ODLIČNO! Hrana brez konkurence!

What a wonderful place! We enjoyed 3 nights in Robanov Kot in mid-November and were lucky to have beautiful sunny weather to explore the valley and neighboring Logarska Dolina. Miryam and her family were the most delightful hosts--we were welcomed with a complementary glass of Schnapps and treated to the most wonderful breakfasts and dinners during our entire stay. The food is all directly from the farm, hearty and delicious. The room was very spacious and comfortable. And the setting--oh my! The valley is so incredibly beautiful, we loved hiking up the valley and admiring the fall foliage and beautiful cliffs on either side. Don't hesitate to stay here for a few relaxing days!!

We loved our stay. The valley was peaceful and beautiful. We walked on trails that started at the farm. Our room was comfortable and quiet. The home cooking was delicious. Staff were very kind. Thank you for having us!

This was our favorite place during our 28 day European trip to 8 countries. It's truly special and amazing and we've often remarked that we should have just stayed there the entire time! To start, it's absolutely, stunningly beautiful! There is a great hike just outside the door that passes by the most beautiful scenery. The hotel is located at the base of the Julian Alps and it's truly incredible. The food is delicious and she gives giant portions. We had breakfast there once and wished we would have on the second day, but we had to get out early. The coffee is good and dinner was amazing. The owner is so sweet and the staff are all wonderful. We stayed on the uppermost level of the Inn and had the most beautiful view from our room. We would not hesitate to stay there again. It's truly special!

We loved escaping from the city and enjoyed being at a working farm in the mountains. Staff/owners were top notch as were the dinners!! Many dishes were from the farm stock and garden. Perfect wine recommendations! Highly recommend

This tourist farm was one of the finest places I’ve ever stayed in all my many travels. The surroundings are beautiful. The food, most of which is produced right there on the farm, is beyond delicious. The rooms, though small, are very comfortable. The owners are so personable and welcoming. The atmosphere is such that it is easy to strike up conversations with other guests, many of whom have come from other parts of the world. We only booked for one night but could have happily stayed a week!

Can’t ask for more

Our two days in this farm were a dream. The view of he landscape when you wake up, the food, the owners... everything was perfect. I have a little baby that crawled all the day and she never got dirty in the floor. Thank you for the perfect stay!!

Wir verbrachten 10 Tage mit HP in Robanov Kot. Sehr ruhige Lage mit wunderschönen Aussichten und Wandermöglichkeiten. Sehr freundliche, herzliche Gastgeber, vorzügliche Küche mit lokalen Gerichten. Anreise mit PKW ist empfehlenswert, um Wander- und Bergtouren in der nähreren Umgebung (Luce, Solcava mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und TIC) zu erreichen.

I have separately done a review on booking.com. Turistična kmetija Govc-Vršnik in in the most beautiful setting and run by a lovely family, very kind and helpful. The food for breakfast and dinner is fresh, sourced from the farm itself or locally, and is delicious. We loved the stupendous view of the valley and soaring mountains from our room and balcony - we could have stayed there just watching the changing shadows, sunshine and clouds on the rock but the walks were calling. We would love to return, or indeed spend a whole year here!

One of the best places we stayed in Slovenia. The food was amazing. One thing I did not understand - when booked via booking.com we had to pay 25 euros for half board, when booked directly, only 12. This is a large difference...Anyway the price was worth it!

Very nice location, and very friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay. Rooms are good, and breakfast is also very good with local dairy products, however, a bit more vegetable would have been good. Dinners are delicious, and large portion.

Turistična kmetija Govc-Vršnik is the ideal place to take a break from your daily life. It's location is perfect for hikes starting just outside the door or in the area. The owner Marjana and her staff are really helpful with great tipps for a day outdoors. We have enjoyed our hearty breakfast on the terrasse with great views on the surrounding summits. We are looking forward to go back to Robanov Kot.

What an absolutely serene and lovely place. Meals were generous, staff was attentive, rooms were immaculate. Loved the welcome blueberry brandy--what a great touch, it made us feel so welcomed! We couldn't be more pleased. I hope we can make it back some day!

Schönes Haus am Beginn eines ruhigen und eindrucksvollen Bergtals, in der Nähe eines kleinen Flusses, sehr schöne Zimmer, sehr gutes Essen mit lokalen und regionalen Spezialitäten, Wandermöglichkeiten in der direkten Umgebung. Und vor allem sehr freundliche und liebenswerte Betreiber. Empfehlenswert!

the owner and the stuff was wonderful they help with any issue that came up it was a little despoilment that the room was not 100% fixed before our arrival (the toylet was broken) but they fixed it on the spot I truly recommend this place

Der Gesamteindruck war sehr gut und die Familie hat uns prima bewirtet. Die Malzeiten war reichhaltig und sehr lecker und auf Wunsch gab es vegetarisches Essen. Am besten haben uns die frischen gebratenen Forellen geschmeckt. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

The days/nights here were the best of my three country vacation both location at Robanov Kot, the family living and operating the farm/villa and the food. No need to go further to hike for beauty; however, the real touch was the folks and family atmosphere.

We had a wonderful time. The Food was excellent and plenty. Robanov kot is a spot to relax and familiy Govc makes the stay like home away from home. We recommend this for People loving nature and seeking calmness.

This tourist farm was one of the best places we stayed in in Slovenia. The setting was spectacular even on a cloudy day. The food was very good, home cooked, and generous. The tourist farm is spotless. Our room (#9), while not large, was perfectly serviceable and the view of the mountains was gorgeous and worth way more to us than extra space. The staff, especially Matthew (can't recall how to spell his Slovenian version of the name), was friendly and helpful. We loved the personal touch and family owned nature of the business. Matthew told us the land had been in his family for 300 years! That is longer than the USA has been a country. This farm is great value for the money and we would highly recommend it.

Govc Vrsnik is a wonderful gem in terms of accommodation, warm hospitality, delicious Slovenian cuisine and picturesque views of Solcava and Logaska Dolina. sve je bilo upravo savrseno, mozemo slobodno reci perfektno, od ljubaznih domacina, hrane, i blizine logarske doline ali i ostalih fantasticnih i slikovitih mjesta u blizini robanovog kota. posebnost ovog mjesta je ta da nije previse turisticna i ovo je mjesto za savrsen odmor i relaksaciju. BRAVO za domacina. we can say freely that everything was just perfect, from friendly hosts, perfect food and the vicinity of the Logarska Valley, as well as other fantastic and picturesque places near and in the vicinity of the Robanov Kot. the specialty of this place is that it is not too touristic and this is a place for a perfect vacation and relaxation. BRAVO for the homeowners.

One of our all time favorite places. We enjoyed every moment of our visit, from the welcome drink of local blueberry schnapps to our parting, the wonderful, friendly staff and owner made us feel welcome and at home. Our room was spotless and comfortable with an incredible view of the mountains. The dinner prepared with foods from the farm was delicious and more than my wife and I could eat (but, we tried to eat it all). The breakfast was the same. Wrap all this in one of the most beautiful alpine settings imaginable and you have Turistična kmetija Govc-Vršnik.

Hrana je odlična, sobe prijetne. Lastniki prijazni. Manjkajo pa spremljajoče storitve. Pogrešali smo predvsem kakšen zemljevid s potmi (npr. kolesarske ture, pešpoti), informacije o okolici, nasvete glede tega, kaj se splača iti pogledat, itd. Tega ni nič.

We had a perfect stay here. It was very welcoming from the moment we arrived with the offer of a drink and a lovely dinner to eat (the food is amazing and very plentiful)! Our room was comfy, clean and warm and just perfectly presented. The location is great for walking and hiking. We would love to return in the future!

Fabulous, food is all locally produced and gives the real taste of Slovenia that we did not find elsewhere ; only criticism is that signs from main road could be a bit clearer a location not on satnav .

Wir sind seit 2 Wochen in Slowenien unterwegs und unser Aufenthalt im Gasthof Govc- Vrsnik war das absolute Highlight: Wunderbare Lage, traumhafte Ausblicke von Balkon und Terrasse, sehr gepflegte Räumlichkeiten, gemütliche Zimmer, phänomenales Essen, eine sehr sympathische Gastgeberfamilie- leider können wir auf der Skala nur 5 Punkte verteilen, wir würden gerne 10 geben!!

Located in an isolated alpine valley this working farm is a delightful retreat. Marjana provides traditional food and wonderful hospitality. Go for a night but prepare to stay for a week. You will not be disappointed.

The B&B's location is fantastic with spectacular views of the Kamnisko-Savinske Alps. For some reasons, we weren't asked to rate the food, which is a mistake as the food is fantastic! We had half board, so we not only had a great breakfast, but also a delicious, multi-course meal later in the day. It was really delicious! The B&B is in Robanov kot, near the town of Solcava and next to the Logarska Dolina Valley. A beautiful alpine area! This was our third or fourth visit, and we will be back again soon!

We had a lovely stay here. The location is really beautiful. The rooms are big and very clean. Good beds. Very nice hosting family. Everyone in the family is helping, they really make you feel welcome. The wifi was OK. The breakfast was good, not extraordinary - but the products they serve are super fresh and tasty. The cheese they served was really something special. The diners in the evening are out of this world, SO GOOD! So much food, all fresh and a lot of veggies which we think is a great thing! We believe this has to be one of the best accommodations in the area. Most other farms do not seem as inviting, and they do not seem to attract many guests at all, except for the (more expensive) ones in Logarska Dolina valley. If you drive around, you will see farms (Zibovt, Rogar, etc.) that do not look as appealing. Govc Vrsnik is a hidden gem, that we certainly recommend! One small advice - I think the website should mention that there is an extra 20% charge in case of staying 1 or 2 nights. It was a pleasure staying 3 nights though, no regrets!

What an amazing place! Everything was excellent from the location to the accommodations to the food to the hiking ... We love it here - its our family place so far. Thank you for making our first trip to Slovenia so memorable. We hope to come back someday.
